Important topics discussed:
SO first of all, on Friday, March 23rd, I am going to have a screening of Invisible Children in the auditorium lasting ALL DAY. Mrs. Holliman will e-mail the teachers and encourage them to bring their classes to it. This will inform the students of what they will be giving money for when we do the fundraiser.
Next topic discussed was the fund raiser. After talking with Mr. Mac, we came to the decision that we will have a basketball game after school at 5:30 on April 12th. Mr. Mac said that we should talk to Coach Smith about setting up the teams, so I will do that soon. The teams will be asked to pay a donation of $10 as an entry fee.
For other people that want to come to the game, admission will be in the form of a donation that is no less than $1.00.
Also, we might have a dunking contest the tuesday before the basketball game during break and charge 50 cents or so.
Our goal is to raise $2,500, we can do it!
