CHS Young Democrats Meeting Minutes.

    Important topics discussed:
  • The most important reason for our meeting today was to discuss the upcoming fund raiser. We will have a basketball game on April 12th at 5:30 p.m. Admission will be in the form of a donation that is no less than $1.
  • We will be doing things during the game, such as running the concession stand. We decided we would all make a contribution by bringing a 12-pack of canned drinks and candy. The following has been assigned:
    Coke Sprite
    Alan Audrey
    Emily Mrs. Holliman
    Kyle Jasmine
    Latina Kyndall
    Melody Sarah

    Also, Marla will be buying a big pack of Snickers and Skittles from Sam's.
  • Latina will be talking to the Pom Pom Squad to see if they'd like to perform at the halftime show during the game.
  • Also, you kids need to help spread the word! Try talking it up to you friends, posting things on Myspace and Facebook. Talk to members of your church. And if you're interested, there will be a poster committee at Alice's house tomorrow (the 5th) at 12:30 p.m.
  • Our goal is to raise $2,500.
